World Sanatan Conference – 2022

Lalit Shastri

There are over a billion followers of Sanatan Dharma in India. The followers of Sanatan Dharma constitute about 17 per cent of the world’s population. The Hindus, who follow the Sanatan Dharma are wedded to the ideology of Hinduism and what they represent in totality, which includes the Hindu culture and civilisation, can be qualified and summed up in one word and that is Hindutva.

Sanatan Mission is organising the World Sanatan Conference – 2022 in Bhopal, India. Eminent personalities have given their consent and shall be attending this Conference.

World Sanatan Conference – 2022 will be dedicated to Sanatan Dharma, faith of more than a billion citizens and world peace.

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi inaugurated Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham in Varanasi. He said that that earlier the temple area was only 3000 square feet which has now enlarged to about 5 lakh square feet. Now 50000-75000 devotees can visit the temple and temple premises. Describing the grace of Kashi, PM Modi said it cannot be expressed merely in words as it is an emotion in itself. “Kashi is that place – where awakening is life;’ he remarked.

Sanatan Dharma lays emphasis and underscores : “Truth as one’“ekam sat vipra bahudha vadanti” : Truth is One, but the wise perceive it differently, Rig Veda 1:164:46.

There is no dogma in Sanatan Dharma. It is a way of life as depicted, defined and explained through the Vedas, the Upanishads and the Puranas  and the popular religious texts like the Ramayan, Mahabharat and Bhagwad Gita.

The Hindus do not divide people between the Believers (of a faith) and Non-believers. Sanatan Dharma does not differentiate between “Us and Them”. Sanatan Dharma is a way of life or in other words it lays the correct path, which is so well defined and postulated by the Sanatan or the Hindu Philosophy, or gyan and knowledge that has evolved over several millennia.

Sanatan Dharma symbolises logic, reasoning, scientific temper and acceptance of divergent views. It  embraces the entire world as one family, which is brilliantly depicted by the Sanskrit tenet – ‘Vasudaiv kutumbakam”.

From opening the path of knowledge; to building the awareness about who I am and why I am, what is the purpose of my life in relation to all – living and non-living – that’s been there, to all that is there now and will be there in future; to consciousness first limited to the finite and the senses and then to the infinite and finally attainment of knowledge (about Parapbrahm -the ultimate truth) and that is the highest reality. In a nutshell, Sanatan Dharma is all about awareness, consciousness of the infinite and also right living, all about living life, living it with a purpose and achieving the goal.

This gets explained so well through this Mantra, which is popular in the daily chanting of the Purush Suktam -an important part of the Rig-veda (10.7.90.1-16):

vedāham etaṃ puruṣaṃ mahāntam ādityavarṇaṃ tamasaḥ parastāt /

tam eva viditvāti mṛtyum eti nānyaḥ panthā vidyate ‘yanāya // 3.8 //

I know the great Purusha, who shines like the Sun and beyond darkness. Only by knowing Him alone does one pass over death; there is no other way of going there (Union with God).

This Mantra also occurs in scriptures like Vajasaneyi Samhita (31.1-6), the Sama-veda Samhita (6.4), and the Atharva-veda Samhita (19.6).

Why the need for World Sanatan Conference

For many centuries, successive generations of Hindus, in the Indian sub-continent, have gone through waves and waves of barbaric invasions, plunder and loot. They have witnessed the destruction of their temples and seats of learning, genocide and religious conversions. What began about 1000 years ago culminated with the partition of India and the creation of Pakistan in 1947.

Pakistan and its leaders have not been content by the partion of India and formation of Pakistan. They have also done everything to break away Kashmir but have failed in this motive as Kashmir is an integral part of India.

Not succeeding in their nefarious designs and after losing many wars, Pakistan has been using terrorists, groomed and trained on its territory, to launch terror attacks against India. The Jihadi terrorists had unleashed terror and mayhem to drive away the Kashmri Hindus from their homes in 1990. Things are now under control with the abrogation of special status granted to Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 of the Constitution by the Narendra Modi Government.

Sanatan Dharma is still under attack not only from those who again want to divide the country on religious grounds but also from the so-called liberals, Marxists, urban naxalites and their twisted and warped scholar-patrons in the West.

When the Taliban is committing atrocities and crushing the human rights of the people of Afghanistan, when terrorism continues to pose the biggest threat to the entire world, we have the senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid comparing Hindutva to the jihadist terror groups such as the ISIS and Boko Haram. Then there is also a motley crowd from India and mainly USA that struts around universities as a group of scholars – it got together and organised a Hindu-haters event recently calling it the “Dismantling Global Hindutva (DGH) Conference”. The organisers of this event claimed their universities were behind it. One wonders what will be the credit worthiness of these universities if the Hindus desert them.

The Hindu community has found this anti-Hindu conference very disturbing said Aditya Jha, who has been decorated with Canada’s highest civilian honour as Member of the Order of Canada is an accomplished Entrepreneur & Philanthropist.

“RAISE YOUR VOICE against Dismantling Global Hindutva conference organized by a cocktail mix of “Communists, Extremists & Jihadi” terror network of academicians and #UrbanNaxals across USA and Canada funded by ISI, Pakistan and other India’s enemy countries to unleash violence on Hindus globally. They have been able to trick almost 40 Universities in the name of Free speech and discussion. On December 11, 1995, the Justice Verma of Hon. Supreme Court of India delivered a judgement  bracketing of “Hindutva with Hinduism”, and therefore submitting that being a “way of life”. The Sanatan Dharma and the Hindu religion authoritatively pre-dates all the religions of the worls by many many thousands of years. Hindus and other peace loving people have risen against this communal academic tirade. The same day the #Taliban entered Kabul , “Dismantling Global Hindutwa” web site was launched. It is no coincidence that  these ISI (#Pakistan) proxies have chosen #September11 to change the terror narrative of Jehadis to #HatredAgainstHindus. This global nexus of terror network should be exposed and busted. We must speak up that Hate has no place in multi-Faith world.”

“100,000s letters to universities argued that their logos should be removed to  dissociate from an hateful-political event that contravenes their Not For Profit regulations, mandates of billions of dollars private endowments and safety of individuals of faith, that violets these universities’s very mission of providing a liberal education.”

“This #TerrorNetwork academicians have not realized the silver lining that their politically twisted efforts have woken up the average generally introvert #HinduDiaspora (a highly potent and influential) professionals from outside the academics in the Western world. This terror group camouflaged in academic garb is behaving like social termites damaging the foundations of the western liberal society. The main organizers are not exposing their names and most of the hate mongering academicians are immigrants from India and neighbouring countries and hiding by misusing prestigious western institution and claiming legitimacy through these brands.” – Aditya Jha
